The Sheets Family - Sheets Reunion, Virginia 2008 Report

The descendants of David Stover Sheets had their family reunion July 27, 2008 at the Mount Sidney Ruritan shelter. Due to the extreme heat and humidity, attendance was low, approximately 50 members. Lawrence Sheets welcomed everyone and had a family member of the two siblings of David Stover Sheets and Sarah Houff Sheets, George Emery and Bernard Evans introduce the rest of their family. Lawrence passed around two posters for everyone to sign and they would be given to two family members unable to attend, Evelyn Todd and Haven Kessel.

Leon Sheets handed out 25 flyers showing information about our new web site http://www.thesheetsfamilytree.com/. He encouraged everyone with access to the internet to go to the web site and sign the guest book. He also informed everyone about the phone call from Clifford and the visit with Brad Sheets and family. Leon asked the families at the reunion to check the information he has on the family tree and make corrections/additions to be included on the web site.

Everyone enjoyed a great meal and decided to meet the 4th Sunday in July next year.
